We are part of the Industrial Service Center for Continuous and Intensified Technology (HITEC), a European initiative dedicated to accelerating the adoption of modern continuous-flow and process-intensified technologies within the chemical industry. HITEC’s mission is to help companies evaluate, implement, and optimize continuous processing solutions tailored to their unique chemistries and production challenges.
As a collaborative platform, HITEC draws on more than a decade of advancements in microreactor systems, scalable flow technologies, and intensified process design. The service center brings together a broad spectrum of expertise—ranging from reaction engineering and transport phenomena to advanced diagnostics, automation, and sustainable process development.
Through this ecosystem, industry partners gain access not only to state-of-the-art experimental and analytical infrastructure, but also to deep scientific and engineering know-how that enables informed decision-making, risk reduction, and faster innovation cycles. HITEC supports feasibility studies, process development, scale-up strategies, and technology evaluation, empowering companies to transition from traditional batch operations toward safer, more efficient, and more sustainable continuous manufacturing.
