Who we are
We are a research team that focuses on Transport Processes and Reactions, with expertise in both experimental and computational studies of transport limitations in chemical engineering applications, from lab-scale systems to production environments. We leverage micro-reaction technology for the continuous manufacturing of fine chemicals and for the efficient integration of non-conventional and green energy sources (e.g., ultrasound, photo- and electrochemistry) to advance sustainable processes. A complementary research direction lies in the batch-to-continuous transition and sustainable manufacturing, particularly the handling of solids—such as clogging prevention and intensified particle synthesis—using micro- and milli-scale flow reactors that utilize two-phase flow and ultrasound actuation.
